Biography

Brant Vogel

Born and Raised: Indiana

Current Projects: Collaborating with Don Cromwell (Producer, Bassist, Fleetwood Mac, Eddie Money, etc.) on songs to record. We are co-writing and arranging the material together. These songs will have a contemporary country music feel with the same roots presented in my current songs. Brant recently hooked up with the Pro Staff of “Deer Camp” as a host on a national Outdoor show which is viewed by millions of sportsman enthusiasts on The Sportsman Channel in which his music will be promoted as well.

Accomplishments: Co-writer with Kostas (#1 Nashville Songwriter), Recorded with Spencer Starnes (3 time grammy winning producer) out of Austin, TX. Nominee for 5 awards at the Mavric Awards (Independent artist awards for Southern California on Oct. 21st 2007), Current airplay on 3 radio stations on the Western Slope of Colorado. 2 Time 15 minutes of fame on Ventura’s 100.7, Radio Airplay on Indiana 105.5, San Diego 95.7. Toured Western half of United States from Montana to South Texas out to California. Release of Self Titled Album “Brant Vogel.”

Original Songs Played During Shows: Thank Hank, Outlaw Country Music, Chiquitas and Margaritas, Rosarito, Classic Country Song, Rowdy, Drinkin fighting and leaving, Indiana Moonshine, The Honky Tonker, Box Seats in Hell, Going Down To Mexico, Hand Me Another Bottle, Outlaw Lady, I know how to Party, Honky Tonk Wild Side, Tennessee, Country Song, Red White and Blue Collar Man, Steel Guitars Fast Women and Guns, That’s How We Roll, Country Love, Southern Belle, Bad Day to Quit Drinkin, and Living like Hell.

Biography: I was raised in Northern Indiana and I believe that is a great contribution to my character and love of Country Music. My influences growing up were Hank Williams Jr., Hank Williams Sr., Waylon Jennings, David Allan Coe, Johnny Cash, and George Jones. Each of these artists have such different styles in music and songwriting. This difference helped me in my dynamics of putting a story into a song. I learned how to play guitar at age 17 and taught myself how to sing from my guitar. Being self taught really helped me create a unique style and format in playing, singing, and songwriting. Throughout my college years at Purdue University I continued to develop my songwriting and singing skills and knew that this is what I truly wanted to do for the rest of my life. Following college, I started playing out live as a solo artist since it was difficult finding bands in Indiana that wanted to do country music only. I trekked it across route 66 to Los Angeles where I began my promoting and marketing to find a band that had the same influences and passion in Country Music as I did. We currently play the major country clubs between Denver, CO and Southern California. Our drive and heart for what we play is our key to drawing our crowds and developing ourselves into a band that will continue to move forward.
